JENNIFER KESSLER - Acting & Theater/Dance Instructor (LYPAC Creative Director)
Jennifer Kessler (formerly Heintz) is thrilled to be starting her fourth year with Lopez Studios, Inc.! Mrs. Kessler relocated to Northern VA from Orlando, FL in 2005 where she danced with Soul Play Modern Dance and taught at Danzforce Extreme dance studio.
Previous to her brief stint in Florida, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Professionally Jennifer has originated the role of Mother in Soul Play's The Power of the Gospel, performed and choreographed for Buckskin Joe Frontier Town and Railway in Canon City, CO, choreographed A Christmas Tale, portrayed Sr. Mary Leo in Nunsense, and worked in Public Relations for Keystone Repertory Theater. While at IUP she choreographed The Apple Tree and the ACTF nominated performance of Scapin. She has directed such shows as Table Settings, Parallel Lives, White Lies, and the original piece, Corporate Frustration. Past performance credits include Into the Woods, Arms and the Man, The Mill On The Floss, Cabaret, Kiss Me Kate, and West Side Story. Past technical credits include Sound Design for Lone Star!, Laundry and Bourbon, English Made Simple, and Miss Julie as well as Makeup Design for Alice in Wonderland the Opera and Wolf Tales.
