BROADWAY, NEW YORK 2008FAQ SHEET
“Wicked”
Age Limit & Requirements:
- Students/Children must be at least 5 to be able to go on the trip with or without a parent chaperone.
- Parents/Guardians will be required to register and accompany children between the ages of 5-9 to act as their chaperone.
- Students/Children 10 and older may register for the trip without a parent or guardian registering or participating. These students will be placed under the care of a chaperone.
- Disclaimer: “Wicked” may not be appropriate for children ages 8 or younger.
47 Guaranteed Spaces:
The first 47 to register will be guaranteed a space on the trip. We will initially reserve one bus for the trip that will accommodate 47 registrants, the staff, and our tour guide. Registrations received beyond our 47 limit will be placed on hold until we can completely fill another bus seating a minimum of 40 additional registrants. If we are not able to meet this quota, all registration fees and deposits paid in advance will be returned to those not within the first 47.
Completing The Registration Form:
1 Registration Form may be completed per family or per account. For example, if a studio student is registering along with Mom, Dad, and brother John, then we would assume you will be paying all together and therefore you will only need to complete 1 Registration Form. If, however, you have invited 2 cousins and 2 neighborhood friends who will be paying their own bill, then each family would need to complete their own Registration Form.

Chaperones & Ratios:
- Parent Chaperones are needed and required for our trip to Broadway. We encourage as many parents as possible to accompany their children and/or consider being a chaperone.
- Chaperones must be at least 18 years old.
- Chaperones will be required to pay for their own trip unless otherwise arranged.
- We must have men as well as women act as chaperones.
- We must have a minimum ratio of 1 Chaperone per 4 children.
- Parents who register with their children will automatically act as their Chaperone and may have other children placed in their group in order to meet ratio requirements.
Room Assignments:
- Registrants will have the option of selecting their roommates or we may do this for you. For example, if you are a family of 4 (2 Parents and 2 children) you may wish to save money and select a Quad Room so you all can stay together or you might prefer to reserve 1 Double Room for the parents and 1 double room for the 2 children. The choice is up to you!
- Registrants may also select other registrants to be roommates if desired. For example, if two sisters are registered for the trip without the parents and they wish to pay for a Quad Room, they may select two other registered friends as roommates. We suggest you discuss and arrange this with the other parties involved before completing your Registration Forms so all parties are agreed.
- We will select roommates for those who have not indicated a preference but desire multiple guest rooms.
- If we are not able to find suitable roommates for single registrants who have requested multiple guests rooms, registrants will be responsible to pay the adjusted additional amount for their trip. Please try to arrange your roommates in advance.
- Boys and girls must stay in separate rooms unless they are siblings or family members.
Lights Out:
- All students/children will be required to be in their hotel rooms by 11:00PM if not accompanied by an adult/guardian. Chaperones will be enforcing this curfew.
- This trip is open to our current studio families, past students, associates, invited guests and the community. So feel free to invite your family, friends to join us for a spectacular time in the Big Apple!
